This course is designed to help students understand and navigate American culture, education, and everyday life โ€” especially if they are preparing to study abroad or simply want to learn more about life in the U.S. Students will explore key topics through real-world examples, cultural comparisons, and practical advice.

Week 1 – Education in the US vs. Ukraine

In this lesson, weโ€™ll explore what itโ€™s like to be a student in the U.S. โ€” from middle school all the way to university. Youโ€™ll learn about the structure of the education system, what students typically study, how grading works, and what life on campus is like. Weโ€™ll also talk about cultural differences, school traditions, and how American students often balance academics with activities like clubs and sports.
